Carlos Munoz

Carlos Munoz is a hospitality recruitment consultant with 30 years’ experience in the hotel industry.

Fluent in English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, he has served as food and beverage manager in prestigious five-star hotels all around the world, including the famed K Club in Ireland and the Princess Yaiza Resort in the Canary Islands.

He has led teams of 200, recruiting, selecting and managing food and beverage staff of all abilities, skills and training levels. He co-founded CMHR to put his decades of experience and rich expertise to work, drawing on his vast network of European hospitality professionals to meet a growing need for qualified staff in Ireland.

His extraordinary talent for communication – in multiple languages, across varied markets – makes him a highly effective recruiter and a valued advisor to our clients.


Ken Dunne

Director Ken Dunne is co-owner (with Thomas O’Sullivan) of a group of eleven successful businesses which retain more than 100 members of staff. A keen sports enthusiast, he also founded the internationally-renowned Dingle Marathon, as well as Titan Sports.

Formerly of the Dunne Group (a 30-year-old company which encompassed seven hotels), Ken grew up in the hospitality industry, gaining vast experience in every facet of hotel, restaurant and food and beverage operations. Added to this is an honours degree in commerce from NUI Galway, specialising in business management and entrepreneurship.

As a result, he understands the challenges facing hospitality leaders today as they navigate a changing environment. He brings exceptional leadership skills, hands-on support and a unique problem-solving ability to CMHR.


Thomas O’Sullivan

A graduate of the renowned Shannon College of Hotel Management, a college of NUI Galway, Director Thomas O’Sullivan honed his hospitality skills in five-star hotels in Geneva and Dublin before establishing a successful hospitality group with co-owner Ken Dunne.

At the helm of more than eleven businesses, he manages some 100 members of staff while also building his academic career: having spent more than two decades in the hospitality industry, his talents as a consultant, teacher and public speaker are in demand.

Thomas shares years of experience, hard-won expertise and unrivalled management skills in his work with CMHR. He helps to ensure all our candidates have the highest levels of qualifications and training as well as the can-do attitude that he champions in every aspect of his life.


Vanessa Vidal Villar

Vanessa Vidal Villar is our senior recruiter for Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Like everyone in our team, she is also a food and beverage professional, having worked with global tourism groups such as TUI, as well as five-star hotels including the renowned K Club in Ireland and the prestigious Princess Yaiza Resort in the Canary Islands.

Spanish-born Vanessa has a master’s in executive hospitality and food and beverage management, in addition to labour consultancy qualifications.

She is also fluent in four languages, offering our candidates key assistance during the recruitment process. Her rich and varied career has taken her to many parts of Europe: she understands the challenges and opportunities that come with relocation and she’s here to help, with qualified advice and valuable support.
